This research explored the types of word formation processes in descriptions cosmetic products. descriptive qualitative study employed classification proposed by Yule’s (2010)—derivation, compounding, conversion, borrowing, blending, acronym, backformation, coinage, clipping, and multiple to analyze data. The data were taken from products beauty brands U.S celebrities—Fenty Beauty, Rare Kylie Cosmetics, Florence Mills which released production April, 2022. discovered 125 word-formation including derivation (42), conversion (29), (17), compounding (16), clipping (8), borrowing (7), acronym (3), coinage (2), blending (1). implies that is most frequently used product descriptions, suggesting use creates adjectives modifies
